New Wave Night: Kaspar Baum + La Lune Noire + Point of Madness + DJ’s CO2 & VIX

Let yourself be carried away by the dark sounds of La Lune Noire, Point of Madness and Kasper Baum. Once again, DJs CO2 and VIX will spin both well-known and lesser-known gems of the always danceable New Wave. Can you feel it already? 

Kaspar Baum 
Attempts to categorize Kaspar Baum into a single genre consistently fail: this is no ordinary eighties-revival band but urgent post-punk with its own character, intense, raw, and melodic at the same time. Frontman Erny Green (known from Joy Division Undercover) gives the band a lived-in urgency that you rarely hear and feel. Live, Kaspar Baum is a must-see, and with singles like Diamonds Tears & Trains and the new Wagon, the band proves itself with songs that brutally embed themselves in your mind. 

La Lune Noire 
Their music is powerful but still intimate. Melancholic, danceable, catchy synth lines, Gregorian choirs, punky guitars, bewitched arpeggios, and lyrics that really have something to say. La Lune Noire takes much inspiration from New Wave but has developed its own authentic and modern industrial wave sound. With critically acclaimed releases, intense live shows, and performances alongside names like Clan of Xymox and VNV Nation, La Lune Noire has become a staple in the darkwave scene. Their latest work, Penguin Park (2025), marks a return to the basics with a fresh dynamic, without ever losing their dark, authentic core. 

Point of Madness 
Point of Madness is a four-piece, young band born out of a shared love for 80s new wave. Founded in 2023, their music is driven by drum machines, catchy basslines, and passionate guitar work. With Floris Anker on bass, Kay Spijker on guitar, Kai de Wildt on drums, and Sem van Dongen as vocalist and keyboardist, they are on a mission to revive the spirit of the past in the tech-driven world of today. New Wave DJs DJ CO2 & DJ VIX will frame the evening with a collection of new wave bangers and, after the bands, will make your feet hurt on the dance floor. Expect music from bands like The Cure, Killing Joke, The Smiths, Talking Heads, The Cult, and more! Of course, there's also room for that obscure request.
