New Cool Collective

Whether they perform as a solid eight-piece band or as a 19-piece big band: standing still is simply not an option for New Cool Collective. What started in 1993 at the Amsterdam Soul Kitchen with Benjamin Herman and DJ Graham B has led to a band that now tours around the world non-stop. 

They have played in leading clubs and collaborated with a diverse range of icons such as Tony Allen, Typhoon, Guus Meeuwis, and Jules Deelder. The band remains hungry and always in motion; after the album ‘Everything is OK’ and the live album ‘On Tour’, they are once again working on brand new material.

Their credo remains unchanged: “Get the people moving”. And that's exactly what the core line-up with Benjamin Herman, Rory Ronde, Joost Kroon, Frank van Dok, Jos de Haas, Willem Friede, Leslie Lopez, and David Rockefeller will do in MEZZ.
