Nature walk Pannenhoef with Gilde De Baronie

Since 1970, De Pannenhoef has been owned and managed by Brabants Landschap. For more than fifty years, restoration projects have been carried out here that return the area to its original state.

Characteristic elements in the landscape are the Bijloop, the Turfvaart, and the pond De Bak. This water-retentive pond is home to Sphagnum moss, distinctive vegetation, frogs, salamanders, and cattle. In autumn, the deciduous trees warm and animate the area, while conifers provide shelter for birds and other animals.
