Nature walk in Dorst forest with Gilde De Baronie

On 17 December, Gilde De Baronie is organizing a walk through Dorst Forest. This area was formerly known for the outdoor swimming pool Surae and the brick factories with their clay pits. Nowadays, these pits are the habitat of waterbirds.

The forest also serves as a habitat for long-eared owls and grazing Galloway cattle. Since the area is fenced and not accessible to cyclists, horses, or dogs, you can enjoy nature in complete tranquility.

During the walk, the guide will point out the current highlights of the winter flora.
