Nature walk in Boswachterij Dorst

Join De Baronie on an educational walk through Boswachterij Dorst.

Information

Today, Gilde De Baronie walks through the Dorst forest reserve, formerly known for the outdoor swimming pool Surae and the brickworks with the clay pits. Now, these pits are the domain of waterfowl.

The environment offers a habitat for tawny owls, but also for Galloway cattle. The area is fenced off and not accessible to cyclists, horses, and dogs. This way, you can quietly enjoy the nature here.

The guide will point out the current flora highlights during this winter season.

No need to register in advance: you simply join at the meeting point.
