Nature walk de Berkte | Gilde De Baronie

On the northeast side of Rijsbergen you will find a small woodland belonging to the Brabant Landscape. Close to the Galder traffic interchange and the high-speed TGV rail line. It has the shape of a triangle and is bordered by meadows and fields. There you can see deer if you are silent, spot buzzards flying, and hear the green woodpecker laughing at you. The deciduous trees are not yet in leaf, but that makes it easier to see the bird nests. In coniferous trees, birds such as winter robins and crested tits are clearly audible, and of course, animals hide in the forest.

Put on sturdy walking shoes to enjoy walking on the unpaved paths.
