Nature walk Aa or Weerijs with Gilde De Baronie

The Aa or Weerijs is a stream that originates in Belgium and flows out into the Singel of Breda. In 2005, this valley was redesigned to prevent flooding in the city. 

The river now meanders and the bed has been widened. The Trippelenberg has long been a populated area. In the Middle Ages, the Castle ‘Ten Houte’ was located here, approximately at the site of the current Prinsenhoef.
