Music, memories and history at the Generaal Maczek Memorial

On the occasion of the 134th birthday of General Stanisław Maczek, the Maczek Memorial invites you to a special evening with music from the pre-war era, featuring songs from Lwów in Poland and stories about the famous radio show Wesoła Lwowska Fala. 

In December 1944, shortly after the liberation of Breda, these popular artists performed for the Polish soldiers of General Maczek, bringing music, humor, and hope after the hardships of war. 

During this evening, a violin concerto inspired by songs from pre-war Lwów will be performed by the Polish violinist Ewa Pepper. An evening filled with music, history, and memories of the world that General Maczek’s soldiers carried with them.
