BLASt, the Breda architecture platform, is organising a film evening on Wednesday 4 February that is entirely dedicated to the housing issue in Breda. The central question of the evening is: how do we want to live? 

By highlighting different perspectives, BLASt provides an in-depth insight into the current housing challenges facing the city. Two films, various housing types During this evening, two films will be shown, each offering a unique perspective on the theme of living. The first film, Flexscapes by video artist Mirte van Duppen, is a videographic investigation into the phenomenon of flexible living. It explores the possibilities and challenges of flexible housing options. The second film, Working Residential Neighbourhoods, features architect Eric Frijters showcasing inspiring examples of combining living and working in the city, both nationally and internationally. 

After the screenings, in-depth discussions will take place with the creators. Policymakers, developers, designers, and the audience will actively participate in these discussions, bringing together various viewpoints and ideas. The opening will be performed by councillor Arjen van Drunen.
