Mother's Day Workshop | Create a Spring Kokedama

Tonight you will work together on making a green kokedama. The kokedama is a form of art where plants are central and originates from Japan. The word kokedama means ‘moss ball’ and falls under the category of floral art. It is a way to use as many natural materials as possible, such as moss, soil, and plants. 

There is no right or wrong in this art form, so you can let your creativity run wild. A cosy evening, after which you can take your own created piece home! 

The evening is offered by The Green Submarine in collaboration with Brouwerij Frontaal at the Brouwcafé. The Brouwcafé is a 5-minute walk from the station and 10 minutes from the city centre. 

Note: during this workshop you will get your hands dirty, so wear an outfit in which you can work comfortably. The price of the ‘Kokedama making’ workshop includes a welcome drink, which is quite nice!
