MOOD w/ Jarreau Vandal

Back in 2018, there wasn’t much happening in Breda when it came to Future R&B, Eclectic Soul, Club Edits and Sounds of Africa. MOOD decided to change that and launched its very first edition in late 2018 at Pier15. Free entrance, two DJs and a debut live show by Gaidaa laid the foundation for what would become a familiar name in the city.

Over the years, the team behind MOOD stayed closely connected to its community, refining the formula along the way. The pandemic offered time to reflect on what MOOD wanted to mean for Breda. After the lockdowns, the event returned with renewed energy. Jarreau Vandal was invited and delivered exactly what was hoped for, turning Pier15 upside down.

Since then, MOOD has welcomed an impressive lineup of DJs from across Europe, both during its own events and as a festival host. Names like Full Crate, Dave Nunes, Santo (🇨🇭), Ekany (🇧🇪), Sham Steele (🇬🇧), Franky Sticks, DJ Sueside and many more have all been part of the journey.

In 2026, MOOD celebrates its 7-year anniversary on March 7th. A milestone marked by returning to where it all started, with a refined concept. Five favourite DJs, including Jarreau Vandal, come together in Breda’s largest venue: the Mezz.
