Memorial Music: Antonio Ensemble

On Sunday morning 25 January 2026, music will sound in the Maczek Memorial Breda. As part of Memorial Music, the Antonio String Ensemble Breda will present an atmospheric concert focusing on remembrance and gathering.

The Maczek Memorial tells the story of Breda's liberation by the First Polish Armoured Division and reflects on values such as freedom, peace, and equality. Music helps to make this history tangible and pass it on, also to new generations. The Sunday morning concerts of Memorial Music complement this in a special way.

The Antonio String Ensemble Breda consists of string players of various ages and levels. Led by conductor Joshua Park, the ensemble performs a varied program, including classical music, film scores, and contemporary pieces. The joy of making music together is audible and creates a warm, accessible atmosphere.

The concert starts at 10.30am and is free of charge. Those who wish to support the ensemble can make a voluntary contribution afterwards.
