Filmmaker Josefien van Kooten takes you on an intimate and visually powerful journey about her mother, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Through filming, drawing, and interviewing her, Josefien tries to gain a grasp on who her mother was and who she is becoming.The film offers a touching insight into the evolving relationship between mother and daughter and highlights the often unprepared role of carers.
