Love in ink: Tattoo Flash weekend

Visitors are given the opportunity to get tattooed by one of the tattoo artists from Bunker Tattoo in the choir of the church, traditionally the holiest place in the monument. 

Flash Tattoos inspired by the stories of the Grote Kerk Breda
Prior to the weekend, eight tattoo artists from Bunker Tattoo explored the stories of the Grote Kerk Breda. During a guided tour, they familiarised themselves with the rich history and the stories of the church carved in stone, made of wood, and painted on walls. They could also research using the interactive tours. Based on this, the tattoo artists developed a unique series of flash designs, which will only be applied during the opening weekend of the exhibition. 

Each design will be tattooed only once and is based on a specific story or detail from the Grote Kerk Breda. Interested visitors can choose from designs by eight Bunker tattoo artists: Roger Merling Meijer, Martijn de Boon, Roos Bakx, Mara Buur, Mitchel Voesenek, Jennie Roskam, Sonja Krzemiński, and Rutger Termohlen.
