Live Lievense: Schipper & Bemanning

Kees Schipper is a Dutch singer/guitarist who has been performing since 1968! He is a true heart-and-soul performer who, from the moment he picked up his first guitar, has played all across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, and he still does. Over the past 54 years, Kees has shared the stage with, among others: Robben Ford, Albert Lee, Kaz Lux, Jan Akkerman, Bert Heerink, Jan de Bruin, Kees Meerman, André Sommer, Bertus Borgers, The Freeride Band, Lois Malone, Melrose Abbey, Co Vergouwen, Freddy Cavalli, and many others.

Recently, Kees has restarted with a new lineup of Schipper & Bemanning, the blues rock band with which he has played extensively in Germany for years, and on 13 May he will travel again to (East) Germany for his 43rd tour. On Friday, 8 May, the guys will give a try-out show at Café Lievense; you must see this!
