At a time when Motown was the norm, Stephen was inspired by the rebellious sounds of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and The Yardbirds. His quest eventually took him to Manhattan, where he experienced a life-changing moment in Café Wha? in the mid-1960s. There, he came face to face with the rise of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix – even before the world knew him. 

What followed was a special bond: Stephen briefly became Hendrix’s roadie and witnessed the magic up close. That intense experience forms the basis of “Experience Hendrix” – a personal tribute to a friend, an icon, and a musical revolution.
