Lievense Live: Breakout

The emerging female-fronted band Breakout is making significant strides. In 2022, the band was selected by Popaanzee for the national program Popsport. Here they collaborated with Marien Dorleijn (Moss). In early 2023, they recorded an amazing live session at De Staat's studio. 

Breakout won the Spectra encouragement award in 2022 and participated in an international band competition. Last spring, they were part of the selection for the Battle of the Bands here at Café Lievense. With their singles ‘Back to the Roots’ and ‘Mad Love’, they made their debut this year in the Zeeuwse and South Holland rock scenes.

Breakout has a spot in the Popsport Academy where they receive coaching from Xander Vrienten and are working hard on their energetic live show. Their live performances surprise audiences with compelling original songs, a strong stage presence, theatrical elements, and a dynamic mix of intense energy and breathtaking quiet moments.
