<p>Peter van de Steenoven was one of the seven historians who, over the past few years under the leadership of Arnoud-Jan Bijsterveld, have been engaged in investigating the functioning of Brabantian enterprises during the war. Peter conducted archival research into the operations at the Hero canned food factory in Breda and compared these with the findings of previous research on other industrial companies in Breda.</p>
