The programme At 14:30, the artist David Maroto will give an introduction to his work.&nbsp; Followed by a lecture at 15:00 by Dr. Stefanie Massink about the role of the Netherlands in Spain’s transition from dictatorship to democracy.&nbsp; At 16:00, harpist Stef Van Vynckt will perform a piece of music by Hanna Darboven.&nbsp;About the lecture The role of the Netherlands in the Spanish transition In this lecture, Dr. Stefanie Massink will delve deeper into the role of the Netherlands in Spain’s transition from dictatorship to democracy. Although the Netherlands is often seen as a relatively small player compared to countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, this lecture shows that the Netherlands did indeed influence the democratisation process in Spain.&nbsp;Performance by Stef van Vynckt Harpist Stef Van Vynckt is active within contemporary classical music, founder of the emerging chamber music ensemble EMC - Extended Music Collective, and has worked closely with leading contemporary composers. Stef will perform part of the music piece Opus 45 by Hanne Darboven on this day. DThis programme has been realised in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes and concert organisation De Link from Tilburg.
