They appear out of nowhere, complex figures in grain, sometimes hundreds of meters in size.

Crop circles are a worldwide phenomenon. We encounter all kinds of geometric shapes and they also occur in grass, maize, snow, and rice. Crop circles are not just a modern phenomenon; the first report in the Netherlands dates back to 1590. But they all have one thing in common: they are often beautiful and unique in shape. But who or what creates these crop circles, and how and why are they made?

In this two-hour lecture, crop circle researcher Jules Faber will delve deeper into all these questions, of course supported by beautiful and extraordinary digital images (180). Additionally, a number of grain stems will be shown, originating from various circle formations.
