La Lune Noire is a Dutch New Wave/Electro band from Dordrecht. The music is powerful and intimate at the same time: wistful AND danceable, with catchy synth lines, Gregorian choirs, punky guitars, enchanting arpeggios, and lyrics that really have something to say.
Echoes from the ’80s resonate in the sound, but always with a unique, authentic, and modern twist. Inspired by artists such as Gary Numan, Front 242, Killing Joke, Depeche Mode, and early Simple Minds, La Lune Noire evokes the atmosphere of the new wave era, without ever being a copy.
