KROV speelt reprise Plooival

Something beautiful that has been. The suffocating feeling of it. You might think: just over, thank you and move on to the next. But no. Theatre group KROV will perform a reprise of the production Plooival by Breda-based playwright Jeroen Flamman on 4 and 5 October at the Belcrumhuis in Breda.

The directing is in the hands of Katoo Vanhoutteghem. Fifteen years after the last show, a variety troupe comes together one last time. For an absolute final encore. It will be a tribute to the successes of that time. A re-experience of the applause. But as rehearsals progress, memories seem to increasingly fall back into unwanted folds. Sometimes it is better to forget.
