Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair - Chassé Cinema
Information
Director Quentin Tarantino brings Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2 together into one continuous film, as he originally envisioned. This extended version also features never-before-seen anime scenes and several small 're-cuts'.
About the film
A former assassin (known as 'The Bride', played by Uma Thurman) awakens from a coma to take revenge on her former boss and lover, Bill, and his team of assassins who betrayed her and left her for dead.
In part 2, Uma Thurman becomes the revenge-driven killing machine ‘Black Mamba’, who sows death and destruction with her impeccable samurai sword. She never loses hope, even when she is buried alive or takes on hundreds of Japanese gangsters on her own, and also shows her emotions.
In Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the cliffhanger ending scene from Volume 1 and the summary that began Volume 2 are removed, and a short pause is added to separate the two parts. The film also includes a never-before-seen animated scene and reinstates the colour of the fight scene in the ‘House of Blue Leaves’, which was first shown in black and white in the US cinema version to avoid an NC-17 rating.
