IVN Silent Walk Hondsdonk

Sometimes nature is so magnificent that you involuntarily stop in your tracks. Much more often, you let yourself be tempted to chat during a walk. That camaraderie can sometimes come at the expense of the attention you pay to your surroundings. This time, you will go on your journey in silence.

At the start, the guides provide some general information, but thereafter you remain silent. You listen to the chirping of the birds that are full of spring. You hear the wind in the trees, the creaking of twigs under our feet, or the babbling of water.

You will take approximately a four-kilometre walk through the idyllic Hondsdonk. The estate is located in the ‘Quiet Area Chaamdijk’, which covers 1865 hectares. The Strijbeekse Heide, the Goudberg, and the Bleeke Heide are also part of this area.

Registration is possible until the day of the walk. After registering, you will receive information about the departure point.

Limited parking facilities are available. The area may be wet after rain; please keep this in mind. Due to the nature of the walk, dogs are unfortunately not allowed this time.
