IVN links this walk to the annual garden bird count. You won’t be counting during this walk because it’s a garden survey, but IVN aims to refresh and improve your bird knowledge &nbsp; Remember the differences between a house sparrow and a hedge sparrow? How do we distinguish a blue tit from a coal tit? Which species can we encounter in gardens? Don’t forget your binoculars!&nbsp;Registration is possible until the day of the walk. After registering, you will receive information about the starting point.&nbsp;National Garden Bird Count Of course, we all enjoy watching birds in our garden or on the balcony. However, we can also make a useful contribution by counting these birds for half an hour. Every year, over one hundred thousand people participate in the National Garden Bird Count organised by BirdProtection Netherlands.&nbsp; This year, it takes place from 30 January to 1 February.
