The Dutch-speaking successful formation, then known as Is Ook Schitterend, scored a major hit in 1997 with their debut single 'Voltooid Verleden Tijd'. From 2005, IOS experienced a second heyday with a more robust, alternative sound on their album '4', of which 'Hoe Het Voelt', 'Altijd Wel Iemand' and 'Uit De Schaduw' effortlessly made it into the Top 40. With the album 'Open' from 2007, the quirky band put an exclamation mark behind ten years of writing and performing Dutch-language music together.In the spring of 2021, they picked up where they left off, slowly making plans to release new music and take the stage together.Of course, tonight’s concert will include their hits, but the band will also perform new work. “A new chapter cannot exist without new music. The IOS story has always revolved around two themes since day one: music and friends. That’s why our new single, ‘SAMEN’, is a musical tribute to friendship.”

The originally Groningen-based band IOS is back after a break. Following a sold-out reunion concert and the new single 'SAMEN' (together), the band will embark on a tour of Dutch music venues.
