Introduction evening Philosophy Club: The Impossible Community

What do you understand by ‘community’? How can people live together, and what is necessary for that? Is strict adherence to rules essential, or is boundless tolerance the answer? Or is a good chat over a drink enough?

The Impossible Community is an initiative by philosopher Max Receveur and artists Maria Timmermans, Renske Huysmans, and Lotte van Kessel. Together, they explore the concept of community from various philosophical perspectives throughout history.

During this event, you will informally get acquainted with the philosophy club. You will collectively read a short text by Friedrich Nietzsche and discuss it with each other. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to chat further over a drink.
