Internationals Cinema Breda: The Secret Agent (EN subtitles)

The Secret Agent follows Armando, a widower and university lecturer fleeing political persecution during the Brazilian military dictatorship. In Recife, he finds shelter among other refugees. In the same city, his son is raised by his father-in-law.
Elza, leader of a resistance group, discovers that Armando is in deeper trouble than he realises and helps him attempt to escape the country.
