Besides covers, Inge Lamboo has another specialty: mashups. For example, she performs ‘Do I Wanna Know’ by Arctic Monkeys in the style of ‘The Chain’ by Fleetwood Mac, on an ‘old rotten 12-string guitar’ that she saved from drowning. On TikTok, this garners 800,000 views and an enthusiastic response from Lindsey Buckingham. Later, she writes the anthem ‘Like A Phoenix’ as an ambassador for Pride, with the striking video of the burning guitar. A snippet of her mashup on Instagram and TikTok goes viral: 4.6 million views and 684 thousand on TikTok.
