In De Kleur Van De Heuvel

In De Kleur Van De Heuvel is a social-cultural art project in the Breda neighbourhood of Heuvel, taking place from 29 April to 2 May 2026. For four days, the neighbourhood will focus on creativity, encounter, and connection, with a programme full of free workshops, music, and art.

The Heuvel is anything but grey. The neighbourhood is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, ages, and backgrounds. At this event this diversity is central and made visible through art and collaboration. Residents have the opportunity to add their own ‘colour’ to the neighbourhood alongside local and professional creators.

The programme includes DJ workshops, painting and sculpting workshops, film and music activities, makeup artistry, and trying out different instruments. Everything is accessible and welcoming for people of all ages, with or without experience.

In De Kleuren Van De Heuvel is a collaboration between Urban Living Lab Breda, Breda University of Applied Sciences, Surplus, and the Municipality of Breda, together with creators from the neighbourhood itself. The project is about meeting, connection, and building sustainable relationships in the community.
