Gerson Main in MEZZ

Gerson Main is a singer-songwriter with a mix of quirks and familiarity. His songs have already reached many pop stages and festivals, such as Solar, Paaspop, and Pinkpop.

Gerson Main started as a guitarist in the bands of Dio, Akwasi, and Typhoon. He broke through in 2015 with his participation in ‘De Beste Singer-songwriter van Nederland’, where he reached the finals. His debut album ‘De Slechtste Singer-songwriter van Nederland’ was well received.

In addition to his own work, he has also written for artists like Sef, Shirma Rouse, and Stef Bos, and created several theatre productions. In 2024, his second album ‘Weg van dit feestjE’ was released. It is a personal and musical story that revolves around the question: ‘How did I end up here and why is it so frightening to grow older?’

Before he takes this album to the theatre, Gerson is touring around various pop venues and festivals.
