Fixkes in MEZZ

The Antwerp band Fixkes has grown into a mainstay in the Belgian music scene. Since their breakthrough with ‘kvraagetaan’, which topped the charts for weeks, they have continued to grow and innovate. Fixkes kept writing and experimenting, with fragile lyrics, guitar solos, and pop with a hint of hip-hop.

After four albums, they toured last year through theatres with their request tour ‘Vraag het aan Fixkes!’. A tour full of surprises where they not only played requests but also gave the audience the chance to join them on stage. Now Fixkes is back with a new album: ‘Danny & Danny’. A surprising collection of adaptations of their own and others' work, featuring gems like ‘Nattigheid’, ‘Doosje’, ‘Klungel van de Jungle’, and the Eurovision classic ‘Jennifer Jennings’.
