About the film:
1952. Despite moving from America to Paris with her husband and young daughter, Niki struggles to mentally distance herself from her family. Her work as a model and actress brings her no real satisfaction either. Creating art seems to be the only way to escape her past.
The film Niki de Saint Phalle tells the story behind the renowned artist of the same name, for whom her bold, expressive work became her weapon.
