Filmclub Botanique – Carpe Cinema: French Film Series Autumn 2025

Filmclub Botanique is the meeting point for film enthusiasts who want to delve deeper into a theme. Twice a year, the film club presents a carefully curated film series where you watch, discuss, and experience films together with other cinephiles. Under the banner Carpe Cinema, this autumn you will start a series of five impressive French films, a mix of timeless classics and contemporary gems that touch, surprise, and invite discussion.

When and where?
Every two weeks on Thursday morning at 11:00 AM, you are welcomed at the film club with a cup of coffee or tea and a short introduction to the film. Afterwards, you can stay for a chat or join other Filmclub fans for a delicious lunch in the film café (lunch not included).

Programme Autumn 2025

• 2 October – Intouchables
  An touching and humorous story about an unlikely friendship.
• 16 October – Être et Avoir
  Intimate documentary about life in a French village school.
• 30 October – Encore
  A contemporary look at relationships, choices, and the complexity of life.
• 13 November – Petite Maman
  A tender tale about a young girl who loses her grandmother and makes a special discovery.
• 27 November – La Double Vie de Véronique
  A magical classic about identity, connection, and the mystery of existence.
