About the film 
Single mother Sandra (Nienke Plas) lives with her daughters Harrie and Stella in Amsterdam and can barely make ends meet. When unpaid bills keep piling up and she is accused of fraud, Sandra has to do everything she can to keep her children out of the hands of social services. This fight against the system seems an impossible task. But Sandra refuses to give up; she is determined to give her daughters the summer of their lives.
