About the film:

When they unexpectedly inherit an abandoned house in the countryside of Normandy together, a group of cousins uncover their extraordinary family history. In 1895, their ancestor Adèle, aged 21, set out to find her mother in avant-garde Paris. At that time, the city was the heart of a new art scene, with the rise of photography and the breakthrough of Impressionist painting. As the descendants follow Adèle’s trail, they discover that her story is intertwined with that vibrant art world and even crosses paths with that of Claude Monet.
