About the film
The sharp-witted 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein (June Squibb) has always been very involved with the people around her. After a death that turns her world upside down, she decides to move from Florida to New York. She moves in with her daughter and grandson in the hope of strengthening their family bonds, but she feels only lonely and invisible there. One day, she accidentally ends up at a support group where she shares a story that inadvertently attracts a lot of attention. While a young journalism student sees her as a friend and mentor, the consequences for Eleanor are unthinkable. When the situation threatens to get out of control, she can no longer ignore the truth.
