Skateboarding is Candy’s life. On her skateboard, she feels completely herself. That’s when she hits her ‘rush’: a mental state in which everything clicks and she’s fully in the moment.But that love also has a downside. What if skateboarding suddenly becomes impossible due to a serious knee injury? And how do you stay upright when fate strikes in Tokyo?This film is part of the program surrounding Skatepark. In this performance, skaters and dancers defy gravity with dizzying tricks and jumps. They push the boundaries of what’s possible, in search of flow – alone and together as a community.
