About Los Domingos: In&nbsp;Los Domingos&nbsp;you meet Ainara, seventeen and full of ideals. She is at a crossroads in her life: study as everyone expects of her, or listen to the quiet call that draws her to the monastery. Ainara (convincingly portrayed by Blanca Soroa in her first feature film) is an intelligent and idealistic woman who lost her mother at a young age. Like her religious mother and other family members, she attends a Christian school. Everyone around her expects her to go to university, but she seems more drawn to a contemplative life as a nun. When Ainara tells her family that she is considering entering a monastery, it provokes a variety of reactions. Her father is hesitant but primarily wants to support his daughter. Her atheistic aunt Maite believes her niece is about to ruin her life. Does she truly want this, or is she influenced by the spiritual guidance of her school?&nbsp; The film was a huge success in Spain and had its world premiere at the San Sebastián Film Festival. It won no fewer than five awards there, including the Golden Shell for Best Film. In the Netherlands, the film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The breakfast: The breakfast consists of a well-filled plate with thickly sliced bread, savoury and sweet toppings, a croissant, fruit, and a nicely boiled egg.
