Family Workshop: I’m Going on a Trip and I’m Taking...

No need to travel far this year to enjoy a holiday feeling. During this family workshop, you will go on a journey, but your suitcase still needs to be packed. What will you take with you? 

Together with the museum educator, you'll first gain inspiration from the exhibition Our Nest – From Here to There. Afterwards, you'll get started on your own. By cutting, pasting, and drawing, you'll fill your travel suitcase with dreams, memories, fantasies, and more!

Dates: every Thursday (16, 23, 30 July and 6 and 13 August) 
Time: 11.15 – 12.45 pm 
Location: Project Room Next 
For whom: Children aged 5 to 12 years

Our Nest – From Here to There 
Our Nest is an annual art project involving students from special secondary education at Breda College, De Kei (Coral), and Visio Education Breda. This year, they created artworks around the theme from here to there. Will you join the journey? The artworks explore how students interpret a journey. Everyone has given their own twist to the theme: vehicles that transport us across the world or stories about different cultures. From a phoenix rising from its ashes to dragons and dreamcatchers.
