EXPO@IDFX: The day is chased by the night.

MOMENTUM #1 - a project in the series ‘Curators’ at the invitation of IDFX. With the first in this 2nd cycle an exhibition featuring SOPHIE BAX curated by Yip Stals.

In this project I depict the day and night cycle. Sometimes it feels as if the moon is chasing the sun, because sometimes the day can pass so quickly. I have discovered that when I take more time to experience the subtle transitions from day to night, the darkness no longer appears suddenly.

In this case, the sun is not only chased by the moon, but is also pursued by birds, clouds, rain, twilight, stars, dawn, and then again the sun.

With this project, I want to remind people to slow down and to look more often at the subtle changes in the nature around us. The photo series relates to this theme and is composed of photos I have taken over different years.
