Expo: From Idea to Interaction

Games are everywhere. They not only provide entertainment and immersive stories, but also bring people together and are increasingly being used in areas such as healthcare and education. But what does making a game actually involve?

During the From Idea to Interaction exhibition at Stedelijk Museum Breda, you can discover the creative process behind game development. From the very first idea on paper to a fully interactive digital world. Meet game artists, designers and programmers, and discover how they work together to bring a game to life.

The exhibition invites you not only to look, but also to play and experiment yourself. This allows you to experience how traditional crafts, creativity and new technologies complement one another.

From Idea to Interaction was developed in collaboration with the games degree programme at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) and the research and development lab Cradle. Here, students, researchers and professionals work on innovative applications of, among other things, artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR).

An interactive exhibition for anyone curious about the world behind games, from enthusiastic gamers to creative explorers.
