Have you seen a cool mural and want to have art in your living room too? That’s possible! At the Blind Walls Gallery they regularly showcase solo exhibitions by artists you may recognise from the murals. 

Drop-in afternoon Every Thursday, you are welcome to visit their Gallery from 13:00 – 17:00 without an appointment, so you can come and look around at your leisure. You will be greeted warmly and can calmly view the work. Prefer to visit at a different time? Make an appointment. Exhibition Mans Weghorst - 'I just Wanted to Draw Dinosaurs' 
Mans is a visual artist who moves between various disciplines, with a focus on illustration and animation. Visually, his work is a blend of surrealism, absurdity, spatiality, and playfulness. He draws inspiration from history, theology, biology, music, psychology, art, and many other specific themes. In developing his work, he experiments with characters and the world in which they operate. By deforming spatial elements, he seeks a dynamic image. In Breda, he also created a mural at Poppodium Mezz! "You could say that something has been ‘unearthed’, a rediscovery of spontaneity and enthusiasm. Along with the ‘revelation’ of perfectionism and over-criticism. When is it ‘good enough’? Can something just happen, without meaningful big themes and questions? Or is the creation of an image inherently linked to those big questions? Lastly, a ‘reassessment’ of the creative process, in which questions and confrontations do still arise. Anyway, I just wanted to do something I enjoyed, that was the goal. I just wanted to draw dinosaurs, nothing more than that.
