An exhibition about freedom, nature and society, inspired by the long-running project 49m2 by Witte Rook; in which artists work for a season on the piece of Zaartpark that is exempt from regulations. In collaboration with the founder of this free state, Gerrit-Jan Smit, an additional programme has also been developed that further explores current questions about freedom. 

The exhibition opens on Friday 29 August at 19:00 with works by artists Britte Koolen, Ursa Prek, Sabina Timmermans, Bo Emmens, Ahn Sung Hwan, Edward Clydesdale Thomson, Letizia Artioli, Maud van der Beuken, de Onkruidenier, Maurik Stomps and Penelope Cain.
