ERGENS during BRIK Festival

This installation takes young and old on a journey through the inner world of a child who feels ‘alone,’ trapped in the enchanting suffocation of loneliness. In this experience, everyone (from 8 years old) is provided with a VR headset and takes a seat. 

You close your eyes to the physical space around you, put on the VR headset, and step into a 3D film world. There, you embark on a visual journey supported by beautiful music. 

ERGENS is both a collective and an individual experience: while you visit the installation together with 33 others, you are alone when you put on the VR headset. This invites you to think both individually and together about the impact of loneliness and the strength we find when we make contact and are seen.
