EENIEDEREEN

Be surprised by EENIEDEREEN, the new installation by Schippers&VanGucht at Chassé. Step inside, meet strangers, and experience how a small moment of real connection opens your horizon and brightens your day.

Information

EENIEDEREEN invites you to connect. Sometimes you are lost, losing, the way lost, yourself lost. But after losing comes finding, just as what comes after rain. Be touched by the gaze of a stranger, a moment of recognition and the realization that you truly perceive each other. EENIEDEREEN arises from those small, accidental encounters that give your day new meaning.

Enter the new installation by Schippers&VanGucht on the forecourt of Chassé. A space of five by seven meters, where video, music, vibrations, and live performance come together for a brief encounter with twelve others. In this short twenty-minute experience, it’s about duckweed, rain, you replacing me, hardening, embracing, holding on – that that is important –, strangers, melting, eyes, and a mirror.

Schippers&VanGucht are known for their work that connects, moves, and prompts reflection. With previous installations such as Warnet, De Volle Vuilkar, and ODE, they consistently create inviting and surprising encounters. EENIEDEREEN is no exception. It does not symbolize the world, but your own inner room. You discover how limited your view can sometimes be, until you stand eye to eye with others and your horizon broadens.

In a time when many feel invisible, this installation emphasizes the importance of being seen. Just as children shout “Mom! Look!”, every person longs for that gaze of recognition and connection.

Come to EENIEDEREEN, meet, melt together, and discover the grand and natural thing that comes after rain. Be seen and be welcomed; let yourself be touched by this unique experience. EENIEDEREEN embraces you.
