DUET Netherlands + Japan

The exhibition runs parallel to the show at the Van GoghHuis in Zundert. Works by young Dutch and Japanese artists are presented side by side, like a ‘duet’. Their shared inspiration from Van Gogh serves as a guiding thread.

On the initiative of Van Gogh AiR, several artists from Sint Joost worked in Japanese residencies.

The Japanese artists featured in the exhibition worked in the guest studio in Zundert. On 10 and 11 July, the Japan Open AiR Festival will also be organized in Breda at the Stadsgalerij, aiming to draw attention to the exhibitions, residencies, and a new studio on Teshima.
