Den Kurá Wilhelmina | In Wilhelmina's Garden

On Sunday, 28 June, Wilhelminapark in Breda will transform into the setting of Den Kurá Wilhelmina (In Wilhelmina’s Garden), a musical and theatrical walk where Curaçao's culture comes to life through music, dance, and storytelling.

Starting at 14:00, you will meet at the Polish tank opposite Café Parkzicht, after which you will be taken through the park on a journey where tradition and contemporary expression blend seamlessly.

The performance was created in co-curation with the Curaçao community, during gatherings in March, April, and June 2026 at Dansnest. Together, they worked on a narrative around memory: how stories about Curaçao are preserved, shared, and reimagined in a new context.

The result is a vibrant encounter between past and present, between here and there, and between personal and shared histories.
