De Nationale Voorleesdagen 2026 (The National Reading Aloud Days 2026) is the biggest book celebration for children aged 0 to 6 years.
Come to the Nieuwe Veste in Breda and experience all activities surrounding The National Reading Aloud Days! During these 12 days, you can do all sorts of things in the libraries of the Netherlands. This year, the Nieuwe Veste is organising:
cozy reading sessions with the most beautiful picture books.
interactive performances where children can actively participate.
creative craft activities, inspired by the Picture Book of the Year.
special morning sessions for toddlers and preschoolers full of stories, games, and fun.
