Film: De Biesbosch - Nature in Motion

The nature documentary The Biesbosch – Nature in Motion is being shown at Filmhuis Breda and will be followed by a post-screening discussion with director Bas Kakes and former forest ranger Jacques van der Neut.

On Sunday afternoon, 23 November, the documentary De Biesbosch – Natuur in Beweging will be shown. A special moment, because after the screening, director Bas Kakes and former forest ranger Jacques van der Neut will be present for an extensive discussion.

The film shows what lives in this unique nature reserve and takes you through the rich history of the Biesbosch. Over the years, a lot has changed: after centuries of industrial activity, the area gained the status of a national park in 1994. Meanwhile, the Biesbosch has grown into a globally unique freshwater tidal area.

De Biesbosch – Natuur in Beweging is a tribute to Dutch nature and demonstrates how special and versatile our landscape is.
